Abstract
Nanoparticles are assumed to impact dramatically on the field of drug delivery and nanomedicines. Always in combination with the application of such ultra small particles the risk assessment for unintended exposure is raised. Hence, skin penetration of drugs and the possible particle internalisation into the living tissue is of utmost importance. Systematic investigation of size and surface chemistry on penetration for determination of relevant parameters will be shown.
