Diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis

By a close contact with clinical work and the Dermatology clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, we can combine basic research with clinical studies and maintain the clinical relevance in our work. Patch testing with different allergens is pivotal for diagnosis of contact allergy. Thus, our efforts have concentrated on using and developing this method for screening of contact allergy to experimentally identified allergens.
