Two-photon microscopy for investigations of skin

A method for investigating the localisation and distribution of fluorescent compounds in human skin based on visualisation using two-photon microscopy (TPM) has been established. This work is performed in collaboration with Centre for Cellular Imaging, Sahlgrenska Academy. The TPM technique is applied to study topical drug delivery, epidermal distribution of xenobiotics and investigations of skin cancer.
